Choose and receive your kit

You order your analysis online. Within a few working days your kit lands in the post, with all the sample tubes, a return envelope and a short guide. Simply keep the kit at room temperature until you're ready to start.

Before you begin: put the kit in a set place and have a quick read through the enclosed sheet. That way you'll know in advance what each tube is for.

Register your kit

Each sample carries a unique code. Link that code to you online, so the lab knows exactly whose sample it is and your results end up with your profile. This takes a few minutes.

Scan or type your kit's code into the portal.
Check your name and email address — that's where your message will arrive.
Register before you collect the samples, not afterwards.

Collect your samples — at home, at your own pace

This is the heart of the sampling. You collect a small sample of each type. Most of it is best done in the morning, before breakfast.

Saliva — Wait at least 30 minutes after eating, drinking, brushing your teeth or smoking. Let the saliva run gently into the tube up to the marked line and seal it well.

Stool — Use the enclosed paper or collector sheet, take a small amount with the little stick (a pea-sized amount is enough) and screw the tube shut. More is not better.

Urine — Ideally collect your morning urine in the cup and fill the tube up to the line. This gives the most representative picture.

Handy to know: collect the three samples on the same day. Afterwards keep the closed tubes cool until you send them off together.

Fill in the short questionnaire

A few questions about your medication, medical history, allergies and lifestyle refine your profile. That way your report isn't a single number, but a picture that fits YOU. Take a moment over it — honest answers give the sharpest picture.

You'll find the questionnaire in the same portal where you registered your kit.
You can save partway through and continue later.
Your data stays private and is only used to refine your analysis.

FarmacoBiomics — for patients through a healthcare provider — log in at farmacobiomics.cosmogroup.eu with the code your provider gave you.

CosmoPulse — for athletes through their club — log in at cosmopulse.cosmogroup.eu with the code from your performance team.

Send your samples back

Put the closed tubes in the enclosed return envelope and post them as described in the guide. Ideally send early in the week, so your samples don't sit around over the weekend.

Check before sending: are all the tubes properly closed and registered? Is the questionnaire filled in? Then your package is ready for the post.
